4 Steps

of pottery, porcelain and china restoration

1.

Cleaning and stain removal

CLEANING can involve washing at the sink or removing old repairs and old glues or removing all stains. The piece must be completely clean and stain free for the very best restoration.

2.

Structural Repair

STRUCTURAL REPAIR ensures the strength and durability of the piece. Structural repair must be secure. A poor structural repair must never be covered with color or glaze.

3.

Fill and replace missing parts

When structural repair is complete, FILLING missing areas or REPLACING MISSING PARTS are the next option.

4.

Color and glaze

COLOR paint matching, mixing & application must be correct for the final appearance.

Questions always welcome.
